DIVERSITY DIALOGUE CONFERENCE

The Diversity Dialogue Conference (DDC) is Georgetown Aspiring Minority Business Leaders & Entrepreneurs’ FREE annual conference for undergraduate minority students interested in business or entrepreneurship. DDC aims to introduce attendees to a variety of business disciplines; during the day-long conference, students will have the opportunity to listen to accomplished minority leaders and professionals, gain hands-on experience in a professional development workshop, interact with GAMBLE’s corporate sponsors, and engage with motivated peers.

We look forward to hosting our 10th annual conference on April 1, 2023, with our theme being Post-Covid DEI: Reimagining the Workplace. During the pandemic, many businesses were forced to adapt and shift their operations to a completely digital modality. This disruption of norms, coupled with demands for more attention in companies’ diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, led to breakthroughs within organizations and opened the door to difficult but necessary conversations. Now, as companies strive to bring workers back to the workplace, we have the opportunity to build on the advancements of the previous year and create a workplace that works for everyone; using shared experiences as an opportunity to create our shared future. In order to facilitate this, we intend to host panel discussions, networking sessions, and host a keynote speaker to inform and motivate effective change.

What Can you expect from this year’s DDc?

Join us in the morning for breakfast, free merch, our first speaker, and the starting panels of the day.

The afternoon will be just as enriching: a networking fair with our corporate sponsors, free headshots, lunch, a career development workshop, more panels, and our keynote speaker!
